I went up to Bethel, VT today thinking I would help bail out a friend’s flooded basement. I ended up shoveling 3″ deep mud out of a strangers. The destruction is heart breaking yet to watch strangers just stop at a home and offer to lend a hand was heart warming. It’s truly renewed my faith in humanity, which has become quite jaded over the years.
